Sometimes there are events, anniversaries, and other special days that are coming up sooner than a plaque can be delivered. At Noble Bronze, we’ve found that this is a common problem encountered by families and businesses as well as government and the military. Here are some options we can offer:
Rush Orders
A rush order can sometimes be delivered in two weeks or less. Unfortunately, the cost of this can be quite prohibitive. It is, typically, twice the amount of getting a plaque delivered in our typical 6-8 week time frame. There is also a higher risk of an error or oversight occurring as a result of the hurried production process. We generally discourage this option but we understand that sometimes the urgency is unavoidable.
Placeholder Plaques
Placeholder plaques are an elegant solution to the “rush” problem and we highly recommend them. We’ve created these plaques many times, particularly for the U.S. military. A “faux” plaque can be created on foamboard using a high resolution version of your approved plaque design. This full color image looks very real. It can hold the place for a plaque during a ceremony then, a few weeks later, the actual plaque can be installed. The placeholder plaque can also be used as a keepsake or special gift for someone after the ceremony. Many of our clients have even had them framed.
The cost for a placeholder plaque varies according to size. For example, a very large 36″ x 24″ placeholder plaque costs about $175 delivered. (Smaller ones will cost less.) But we also offer a “free” option. We can email you the approved design file and you can do exactly what we do: print the image on foam board at a local print shop. Any Staples, Kinkos, Office Depot, and most other print stores can easily do the job. The cost for you will be less than half what we charge and you’ll have your product immediately.
Premium Placeholder Plaques
These remarkable plaques are made of lightweight acrylic and have color, texture, dimension and depth. They are very much like actual bronze plaques although without as deep of a relief. Delivery can be made in as little as two days but they do cost about three times as much as standard placeholder plaques. Of course, a Premium Placeholder Plaque can make a particularly extraordinary gift.
When Speed Counts
A fastly approaching event date can often create a great deal of anxiety but we find that our clients have been very satisfied with one of these three options. At Noble Bronze, we take pride in ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality. We will always do our very best to get the design you need with the highest quality workmanship.
