Placed in a public area near the entrance to a bridge, this plaque makes a powerful impression. At 18″ x 22″ with a bronze relief portrait at the top center, it tells the moving story of an accomplished young man who was taken too soon. The lettering is in an Helvetica font written in two languages, English and Ukrainian, and set against a picturesque tree and mountain background. It is a beautiful example of how design and meaning can combine for something even more.
